Suzanne Bohan is an experienced science and health journalist and a correspondent for the Sacramento Bee. Glenn Thompson is a lawyer, entrepreneur and longtime student of human health and longevity. She was also a contributor to a four-part series, "Special Education: The Broken Promise," which won the 2002 Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism, the 2002 California Journalism Award, the 2002 California Newspaper Publishers Association first place in investigative reporting, the 2002 John Swett Award from the California Teachers Association, and the 2002 Price Child and Health Welfare Journalism Award. She holds a B.A. in biology from San Francisco State University and an M.A. in journalism from Stanford University. Glenn is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Business and received his law degree at Santa Clara University. He has practiced law for the last 25 years, owned radio stations and now runs a successful chain of restaurants. The authors are married and live in Mill Valley, California.
